
New Delhi: Narendra Bhooshan, a 1992-batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, has assumed charge as Secretary of the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India.
The Accounts Committee of Cabinet (ACC) approved him for the position of Secretary in the Ministry. He succeeded Tanmay Kumar, who superannuated on Wednesday. Kumar served as the Secretary of MoEFCC from January 2025 to September 2026.
Accordingly, Dilip Kumar, currently serving as Director General (Training) in the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, will take over as Secretary of the Department of Land Resources, succeeding Bhooshan.
