
New Delhi: India Mining Week 2026, the nation's largest conference-cum-exhibition for the mining and minerals sector, hosted ‘India Mining: Global Connect’, an international outreach interaction that brought together representatives of diplomatic missions from 19 countries.
The gathering was organized as a build-up to the India Mining Week 2026 scheduled from 15 to 17 November 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The Ministry of Coal, the Ministry of Mines, and the Government of India, in association with the mining industry, will organize the event.
The pre-event was hosted by the Minister of State for Coal Mines, Satish Chandra Dubey, and the Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Rupinder Brar.
Initiating the interaction, Dubey called for active participation and cooperation in the global mining community at India Mining Week 2026. He has shown keen interest in ensuring wide international participation of ministers related to mining from partner countries as well as industry representatives at the inaugural ceremony.
Brar gave the message of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" and highlighted the spirit of partnership and collaboration that can change the shape of global mining.
"India looks forward to the ideas, experience, and support of partners from across the world in shaping a more innovative, sustainable, and globally connected mining sector.", she emphasized.
The event was attended by representatives of countries like Malawi, Sri Lanka, Algeria, the USA, Chile, and Russia. The members of the US Chamber of Commerce were also present.
The 3-day India Mining Week 2026 will bring together over 25,000 industry professionals and decision-makers, more than 500 exhibitors and technology providers, along with speakers, government and PSU delegates. 50 countries are expected to participate in the event.
The event will feature a high-level conference, international exhibition, technical sessions, leadership dialogues, B2B meetings, technology demonstrations, and product launches, with discussions spanning coal, metals, critical minerals, exploration, mining technology, automation, mine safety, sustainability, mineral processing, and resource efficiency.
