
New Delhi: Puneet Kansal, an IAS officer, has been given the additional charge of the Chairman’s office as the Chairman of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the next three months.
An order to this effect was issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation on September 29, after the transfer of Vipin Kumar, IAS, who was the AAI Chairman.
Kansal will take over the additional responsibility from the morning of September 30. He will continue to serve as the ministry’s Additional Secretary while handling his new role at AAI.
The order has been shared with AAI’s senior officials and board members.AAI manages and operates several airports across India and is also responsible for providing air navigation services in the country.
